As lead agency for watershed planning within Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIAs) 25 & 26, 27 & 28, and multiple watersheds in WRIA 29, the Board works with local governments, citizens, elected officials, and agency personnel to address long-term management of the region’s water resources for water supplies and quality, current uses and future needs, to ensure adequate water supplies for both people and fish.
