Fall Chinook Habitat Project Funding Opportunity

Apply for SRFB Targeted Investment Program Funds!

The 2022 Targeted Investment Program is CLOSED

The Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board is seeking habitat restoration applications to support viability and resiliency improvements of natural origin fall Chinook salmon.
Target populations are those identified as regional priorities for habitat investments and statewide importance for prey resources for southern resident orca whales. Collaborative proposals are encouraged!


Applicants can request up to $3.7 million dollars, although a minimum of 15% matching funds is required.

Fall Chinook priority watersheds are highlighted in the above map. Habitat restoration targeting Grays, Elochoman-Skamokawa, Toutle, Lewis and Washougal fall Chinook salmon are the highest priority for this grant fund.
